Best of luck to our very own Robyn McAlpine, who’s playing the Torneo Citta’ D’Italia #4 this weekend! This is a WSF & PSA Satellite event being held in Milan, Italy.

Robyn met Lara Varma in her first match (seeded 3/4 for the event) from the USA and world no. 283, winning 3 – 0, (11/4, 11/8, 11/3).

In her semi final, Robyn defeated the 19 year old French No.1 seed, Ana Munos (current world no. 134), winning 3 – 0 (11/5, 11/8, 11/5).

Robyn’s run finally came to a close in the final against Egyptian Junior, Malak Samir, current world no. 303. Despite losing 3 – 1, there wasn’t much between the two players, and the learning that Robyn has gained from the event is invaluable. Onwards and upwards!
