The first step on our junior squash coaching programme.

The first rung on our Junior Player Pathway ladder is our Squash Starters Session, aimed at the 5 – 7 year old age group, introducing new players to the game and build the basic skills and knowledge to play rallies will other players.
These sessions are a great way for new players to learn movement and coordination skills in a fun, squash environment. The sessions will be built round fun games and activities that develop key physical skills, such as agility, balance and coordination. Parents are more than welcome to come along and watch the session – or even join in! Our main aim is to make learning fun. A child who loves coming along and wants to come back is a success!
New players will be guided through the rules, and all equipment can be supplied, including rackets, squash balls and goggles. We make sure that all players use the ball most suitable for their standard, to help them get longer rallies and therefore enjoy the game more.
Please note: Coaching plans are not inclusive of club membership fees that you may incur. These are separate and should be paid to the relevant club directly.
