Robyn McAlpine back from Melbourne!

Well done to Robyn McAlpine who has just returned from Melbourne, Australia! Robyn was selected to play in both the Under 19 Women’s Junior World individual and Team Championships – The story even appeared in the Herald! Robyn had a great event. In the individual event, she played Asia Harris, the English No.1 who is two years older than Robyn. Despite losing 3 – 1, Robyn ran her close in some very tight games. During the team event, Robyn met Fayrouz Abouelkheir, ranked 33 in the world, and managed to take a game, losing 3 – 1, and showing her potential to take on the best in the world! She also beat the Canadian No, 1, Ocean Ma, and the Singaporean No.1. This event has been a great springboard for Robyn as she starts her Professional career! Here’s looking forward to Robyn’s first PSA (Professional Squash Association) Event in Sweden in September – We’ll keep you updated!
