Our Scotstoun camps have been running now for over 7 years, and are perfect for all children aged 9 – 15 years old. Each camp is comprised of a wide range of fun and varied activities with elements of coaching, fitness and gameplay. Players are ability graded to make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience, and no one is out their depth. A great way to spend some of the summer holiday – having fun, making friends and improving your fitness, coordination and squash!

The aim of all our camps is first and foremost for the participants to have fun and enjoy squash, make friends with the other camp attendees, and to develop and improve hand-eye coordination and fitness.

A great way to spend some of the summer holiday – having fun, making friends and improving your fitness, coordination and squash!

This year we are holding our first ever SUMMER SQUASH CAMP at Western Health & Fitness Club, suitable for both beginner and intermediate players. Each day will run from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, and will include squash coaching with a with a lot of fun games and activities mixed in.

The aim of the camp is primarily for the participants to have fun and enjoy squash, make friends with the other camp attendees, and to developing and improving hand-eye coordination and fitness.

Places at the Western Camps are limited to 15 players per day and can be booked on either a whole week basis or single days.

A normal day will look like:-

10:00 AM           Arrival and warm-up

10:15 AM           Session 1 – Movement activities/ fun rallies etc

11:00 AM           Drinks break

11:10 AM           Session 2: Theme of the day/ Coaching session

12:00 Noon        Lunchtime (packed lunch)

1:00 PM              Session 3 – Game-based afternoon session

2:00 PM              Drinks break

2:10 PM              Session 4 – Games continued!

3:00 PM              Finish

Players will be split into courts based on age and standard.
